The Young Energy Researchers Conference with its two conference tracks, Energy Efficiency and Biomass, presents the work and achievements of young researchers in these fields.
Young researchers (born after 1984) are invited to submit contributions. A high-level scientific committee selects papers for oral or poster presentation. The organiser of the conference covers the costs of accommodation, meals, participation and local transport (3 conference days) for up to 60 selected participants. Submissions are welcome from all scientific fields (e.g. technology & engineering, economic and social sciences, architecture, law, arts, etc.) and must be in English only. The 2 best contributions are honoured with the awards "Best Young Energy Efficiency Researcher" and "Best Young Biomass Researcher" and receive 1,000 Euro each as prize money.
The Young Energy Researchers Conference is part of the World Sustainable Energy Days (WSED). With more than 650 participants from over 50 countries each year, the World Sustainable Energy Days are one of Europe's largest annual conferences on sustainable energy. The conference offers an opportunity to interact with researchers and industry experts from all over the world.
