In the morning, together with Univ.-Prof. Dr. Markus Hengstschläger, geneticist and member of the council for research and technology development, participants took a look into the future of modern entrepreneurship. Subsequently, FH-Prof. Dr. Georg Jungwirth, an expert on hidden champions, discussed the various success factors of companies and discussed them with company representatives such as Dr. Amitava Kundu, the special prize winner of the Resource Efficiency of 2012, on opportunities and challenges in environmental technology and resource efficiency.

The afternoon is characterized by visions, outstanding achievements and innovative business models.
At the beginning we took a look at the success story and the secrets of an Austrian showcase company and, together with the chairman of the board and CTO DIin Dr.in Sabine Herlitschka, MBA behind the scenes Infineon Technologies Austria AG.
In “2 Minutes of Fame“, six innovative start-ups from the field of resource and environmental technology presented their ideas and visions and discussed their visions and success recipes with the audience.
The conference of the Saubermacher Hans Roth Umweltpreis by Hans Roth, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Saubermacher Dienstleistungs AG, was held. This award is aimed at young academics who use their insights to provide valuable impulses for companies. At the end of Session 2, the Daphne Environmental Technology – Special Prize of the Bohmann publishing group was awarded.
